Hello!
Welcome!Many of you will know me and/or my mum, Nicola, either personally or from us both working at DRI.
For a bit of background, I work in Communications and Engagement (writing all the heart-warming patient and staff stories), while my mum works bank across Medical Imaging, Eye Clinic, Care of the Elderly, ENT etc. as a healthcare assistant and receptionist. It's safe to say we have plenty of NHS experience between us!
We've decided to take on Helvellyn to raise money for the incredible maternity bereavement services at DBTH. Neither of us are experienced hikers, but both of us are extremely stubborn and strong-minded. We are literally doing this based on nothing but pure arrogance and delusion.
