Who are Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals Charity?
Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals Charity are the official charity which supports Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Bassetlaw Hospital and Montagu Hospital. We are passionate about doing our bit to shape the future of the health service and our goal is to fund projects which go ‘above and beyond’, aiding our colleagues in delivering outstanding care, above the limitations of the usual NHS budget.
The funds you help us raise make life-changing projects a reality. For example, our recently opened Serenity Suite is a calming space to care for families during the heartache of baby loss.
Your funds also contribute to improvement projects, such as this x-ray artwork, which helps distract nervous patients.
During the pandemic, our charitable funds were vital in supporting staff wellbeing projects, such as the introduction of the adorable Magnus the Therapy Dog!
This is just a selection of some of the incredible projects our charity has funded, enabled by the excellent fundraising efforts of our community.
