About Our Shining Stars
Since 2020, Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Bassetlaw Hospital and Montagu Hospital have sparkled their way through the festive season by placing star lights on our hospital buildings and for the first time in 2025, and for the first time they'll be shining in a new location, bringing our wonderful stars to the Bawtry highstreet.
Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, schools, community groups and individuals across South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw, we have raised over £80,000 for Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals Charity.
Our Shining Stars helps to bring some much-needed festive cheer to patients, staff, and visitors of our hospitals whilst also helping us recognise our ‘shining stars’ and remembering those who are no longer with us.
